When did you first get into food?

So, I was recently told by my mother that one morning they awoke and came downstairs to find me making scrambled eggs. I was sitting on the kitchen counter working the pan, I just couldn’t quite reach the stove yet, I was three years old. I guess I just took it from there! Like any good Angeleno, I served, bartended, cooked and surfed my way through college, but at nearby USCB. For years afterwards I managed front of the house teams and kitchen teams at a successful restaurant group in Santa Barbara. Spending early mornings learning how to cut meat and fish was just part of the gig. I love what I do so much that I don’t ever have to work a day in my life.

Disneyland or Magic Mountain?

Disneyland. The fudge on Main Street is good. I just can’t handle the funnel cake at Magic Mountain.

What would you do if you won the lottery?

Keep just enough to continue to build our company to help create more jobs, ensure my family’s needs were taken care of, and give the rest away to charitable organizations I believe in.
